Series Big Idea

This series is based on Luke 10. We are asking God to awaken us during this time to the work he has called us to in this New Year, specifically how we, together, can help people find their way back to God. This series encourages everyone to hear from God and join Him on his mission.

This series also reinforces the use of the B.L.E.S.S. practices.  (Begin with Prayer, Listen, Eat, Serve & Story) as a tool to use to help people find their way back to God.

MESSAGE 1 – Awaken us to People

• Big Idea: “Lord, help us to recognize the people you’ve put in our path and respond to them as you responded to us.”
• Scripture: Luke 10:25-37 The Parable of the Good Samaritan

MESSAGE 2 – Awaken us to Your Presence

• Big Idea: “Lord, help us let go of anything distracting us from your presence so that we can lean into intimacy with you.”
• Scripture: Luke 10:1, Luke 5:1-11, Luke 5:27-32

MESSAGE 3 – Awaken us to Your Purpose

• Big Idea: “Lord, help us to be a blessing to the people and in the places where we have been sent.”
• Scripture: Luke 10:1-3, John 20:21

MESSAGE 4 – Awaken us to Your Power

• Big Idea: “Lord, awaken us to the responsibility of your mission and the power you have given us to carry it out.”
• Scripture: Luke 10:1-16

MESSAGE 5 – Awaken us to Your Perspective

• Big Idea: “Lord, awaken us to your perspective and excite our hearts for what excites yours.”
• Scripture: Luke 10:17-24
