Series Overview
Everyone has a unique role to plan in the Jesus mission. The mission of COMMUNITY is to help people find their way back to God by reaching, restoring and reproducing. This series introduces the five simple practices of B.L.E.S.S. that we can all use in our lives every day. This series is based off the book, Discover Your Mission Now, by Dave Ferguson
Session 1: The Jesus Mission
Big Idea: We reach, restore and reproduce the Jesus mission like Jesus did with the woman at the well. She was brought back to God, restored in her community, and became a source of others finding their way back to God.
Session 2: B = Begin With Prayer
Big Idea: To reach, restore, and reproduce we begin by praying about who God wants us to bless each day and how He particularly wants us as individuals to bless our world.
Session 3: L = Listen
Big Idea: To bless people on the Jesus Mission, we will listen to people’s needs and stories more than we talk.
Session 4: E= Eat
Big Idea: We will bless our world by sharing meals with people in need of being reached and restored.
Session 5: S = Serve
Big Idea: To bless people on the Jesus Mission, we will serve individuals and communities at their point of need that are identified as we listen.
Session 6: S = Story
Big Idea: To bless people on the Jesus Mission, we will share the story of Jesus with people we are seeking to bless.
