Without minimizing the sometimes harsh realities of the biblical record, this series paints an overall portrait of God that gives coherence to our understanding of him in both the Old and New Testaments. It will help equip people to navigate these troubling sections of Scripture by helping them learn to consider the cultural context of the passages and to place them in the overarching narrative of Scripture.
