Series Big Idea
Here is a place of financial stress and anxiety. There is a place of financial peace and freedom. If we hope to get from here to there, we will take the next step in our generosity journey. This is a good series to use to encourage your attenders to learn about what tithing is and challenge them to work towards giving 10%.

Series Overview
Here is not where we want to be. It’s not where God wants us to be either. He wants to free us to move from here to there. There is a place of peace, security, significance, and satisfaction. No matter where you are on your generosity journey, be open to the next step God is asking you to take during this series…it’s one step closer to THERE.

Week 1 | Initial Giver
Scripture: 1 Timothy 6:17-19, Proverbs 3:9
Message Big Idea: If we hope to get from here to there, we will take the first step and become an initial giver.

Week 2 | Intentional Giver
Scripture: Genesis 14:17-20, Malachi 3:6-12, Matthew 23:23, Hebrews 5:5-10my 6:7
Message Big Idea: If we hope to get from here to there, we will take the next step and become an intentional giver.

Week 3 | Surrendered Giver
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 8:1-9
Message Big Idea: If we hope to get from here to there, we will continue to take steps to become a surrendered giver.
